Duck! Two Asteroids Pass Closer Than Moon
Two small asteroids will pass by the Earth on Wednesday – both coming within the moon's orbit, and one of them whipping by at just 49,000 miles away. They both were spotted Sunday by researchers with the UA's Catalina Sky Survey.
